The phase Doom clone was very prevalent in the 90s. Many different genres and IP took the Doom engine and made their own spin. Even IP like Star Wars got into the mix with Dark Forces. Prodeus looks to capture that energy but introduce modern rendering techniques and design to make something familar yet new.
