Based on a true story, Lost on a Mountain in Maine follows 12-year-old Donn Fendler, who becomes separated from his family by a fast-moving storm atop a treacherous mountain. For nine days, Donn fights to stay alive in the unforgiving wilderness of northern Maine without food or proper clothing. His disappearance sparks a massive search effort that captures national headlines and attracts hundreds of volunteers, including his father who fears he may never see his son again.

Arriving exclusively in theaters on Friday, Nov. 1, Lost on a Mountain in Maine is produced by Sylvester Stallone’s Balboa Productions and based on the best-selling book of the same name, written by Donn Fendler, which has been required reading for generations of 4th graders in Maine.

Starring as Donn Fendler is Luke David Blumm who started his career with roles in TV hits such as The Walking Dead, Watchmen and The Sinner. When he was 9 years old, he made his feature film debut in Judd Apatow’s The King Of Staten Island alongside Pete Davidson. Next, Luke starred in a string of features including the highly acclaimed award-winning horror/thriller Son, Amazon’s I Want You Back, Vertical Entertainment’s Lola and Sony Pictures’ Where the Crawdads Sing. Luke was a series regular in Ryan Murphy’s hit series The Watcher for Netflix and also stars in the soon to be released Avenue of The Giants. Luke also enjoys playing guitar and singing in his band Sum Yung Guyz.
