Film Kid Asks is the podcast by film students for aspiring filmmakers. It centres the conversation around what we want to know going into the industry by digging into the origin stories and experiences of professionals working in film.

Episode nine is a conversation with production designer and art director Mark Steel who has worked on projects like projects like Star Trek: Discovery, and What We do in the Shadows, and the Umbrella Academy. We discuss his background and journey through the industry, how he works to make sure the space is serving the story, and creating opportunities in design for the cast and crew to do their best work, among other things.
