Practising what I preach, I've had over a month off from podcasting.

My mind was still switched on that week, it was my body that was shut down, so I did a lot of reflecting and assessing. My capabilities, my health, my business in general.

I've loved putting out weekly episodes for you but no matter how organised I am, it hasn't been smooth sailing behind closed doors. My health and my family come first.

But, this also means that I can spend the next four to five months recording 26 new solo and guest episodes for you! They'll be dropping on Tuesday 5 October at 9am AEDT.

I've been talking a lot about values lately, and that's because they're an integral part of our being.

What's the point in writing to attract potential business if you don't sound like yourself?

Change is not an easy thing to go through, particularly if you find yourself doing all the things you would normally share with someone, like your partner, alone.

Annabel Crabb, in her book The Wife Drought, poignantly said: "The obligation for working mothers is a very precise one: the feeling that one ought to work as if one did not have children, while raising one's children as if one did not have a job."

Why is it that women can't have both a career and be a mother?

Having to do lists as long as your limbs isn't fun, particularly if you've got young children, babies included. Chances are you're getting maybe one or two things crossed off each day, and adding more the following day, and it's a never-ending cycle.
