James Harland is an Associate Professor in Computational Logic in the School of Computer Science & IT at RMIT, where he is known for his obsession for incorporating Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy into every aspect of the curriculum, and for giving away far too many chocolate frogs during classes.

The Laborastory is held on the first Monday of each month in Fitzroy.
