The 5th of February kicked off the beginning of the 125th anniversary celebrations of Charlotte Maxeke. The Charlotte Maxeke Institute also used the occasion to announce the appointment of Professor Musawenkosi Saurombe whom they say was chosen because she mirrors the legacy of Charlotte Maxeke which will enhance the importance of access to equal education. She now joins us via zoom to talk about how she’s going to use this opportunity and also how would she describe the current state of higher education in the country?....
