Prof. Bonevac is teaches philosophy at the University of Texas-Austin. His did his undergraduate work at Haverford and got both his masters degree and PhD. from the University of Pittsburgh. Recently, his decision to stop teaching the course "Contemporary Moral Problems" due to a combination of student apathy and uncivil discourse.

Bonevac has written five books, the first of which (Reduction in the Abstract Sciences) was the winner of the Johnsonian Prize from The Journal of Philosophy. He is also the Co-founder and Principal Advocate at BriefLogic. He can be found online at www.bonevac.info.
