Professor Phil Bland is a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Curtin University Western Australia. In addition to his role at Curtin, he serves as the director of the Desert Fireball Network which is an extensive camera array in rural Australia designed to track and locate meteorites.
