Segment 1

Steven Frey starts the show by wrapping up what his summer consisted of. He then introduces his guest Ean Price Murphy the Founder at Moxie Bookkeeping & Coaching Inc. Steven gives some background to Moxie Bookkeeping & Coaching Inc and what they stand for as a company. Ean shares that she was not born for this profession, she worked different jobs growing up and after figuring out that she did not want to teach she explored other options. Ean explains her journey through learning about debt and bankruptcy and learning how to live sustainably.

Ean explains that her goal is to help individuals to be more comfortable talking about money and profit. She explains what profit for a business entails, she goes into detail about how important each factor is for business owners and individuals. Steven brings up how techniques are advancing and how Ean and her company keep data updated in real time. They talk about the use of spreadsheets and excel and other platforms that companies use and Ean explains how her technique is innovative in a way. Steven and Ean talk about alternative options and how Ean and her company will not go back to old techniques, they want to advance a company's financial overlook and data entry.
