Let’s face it, sometimes the thought of building a funnel is just shudder.
Most of the time we hear it’s the ONLY way to run an online biz.
But what if there’s a way that’s less “funnel” - and way more “fun”?
Join me and Mike Kelly from MemberVault as we dive into…
When you do THIS, selling feels good! from Facebook video.
So we're looking for a new house.
And every single day we're checking listings, waiting, hoping, kiiiiinda getting frustrated why our house isn't showing up yet. Come on world, we're ready. Where's our place? Send it our way.
But I realized that I'm not doing a very good job of showing the universe I'm ready for this place to come into my life.
Even if the most perfect place appeared on the market today, I wouldn't be in the position to take action. There’s a few finishing touches to take care of, clutter to get rid of, a mortgage to pre-approve...
Basically, I haven’t proven myself READY to make this happen.
I see a lot of businesses in the same position You set up a page and you’re like k, send me traffic! Send me leads! Send me customers!
And it’s reaaaaaaally frustrating when you realize that nobody's coming - but maybe you haven’t held up your end of the bargain.
Like, maybe you have an opt in set up. BUT... you don’t have an email campaign on the backend to make the most of those leads. You could have all the traffic in the world, but it won’t help you much if you aren’t prepared to do anything with those fresh leads!
It's not like things need to be perfect, but you just have to have the baseline established. So when things come your way, you're ready. You can just jump on it. This is the perfect wave, right? When the wave comes, you're ready to ride it.
So when things aren't going your way and you're wondering why aren't people buying or why aren't people joining or whatever it is, take a step back and see.
Are you ready for it?
What can you do in order to stack the deck in your favor?
What micro-opportunities can you make the most of?
Show the universe you’re ready - REALLY ready - and magic starts to happen.
THE WORST.
Your big launch…
The one you had all of your hopes pinned on…
Is an EPIC Titanic-level flop.
First of all, I know what you're feeling - and I know how painful it is. Hand on heart, I get you a million percent.
And you're allowed to feel the feels. You’re also allowed to the that pain go.
Once you’ve gone through the 7 stages of grief, it’s time to ask yourself honestly…
What did you learn from the flop?
Because every time something fails, we learn.
When we have success we learn what works - but we also don't learn how to get better. We just stay in the comfort zone.
Failure pushes us forward.
And it's not like failure is the opposite of success, it’s actually PART of success.
This is your chance to step back and take stock of these lessons that wouldn't have come up otherwise.
If you hadn't launched, if you hadn't put something out there, you would have never had the opportunity to have these lessons that will make you better for next time.
One thing you can do…
Send out a survey to the people asking why they didn't buy. And you're probably going to get a lot of things like, "It's too expensive," "It's not the right time," or something like that…
But you're also going to get deeper insights.
Look for the people who are giving you longer, more in-depth responses - because they are the ones taking the time to talk about it.
Feeling extra brave? Ask if they’ll jump on a quick call with ya.
You can really get to the root of what stopped them from buying, and also bounce ideas off them and get IMMEDIATE response whether they think it’s worth pursuing or not.
