PROGRESS: First BJJ Competition

Listen Later

Borrowed a page from the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Programs After Action Report/Improvement Plan (AAR/IP) for myself after my first grappling tournament and two losses.  The IP table is a simple, yet effective way to track improvements from exercises, real incidents or personal improvement needs.  Below is my improvement plan with focus on conditioning:
* BJJ Improvement Plan (IP)Capability: Conditioning
* Observation Time: 1/2 through 1st match
* Recommendation: Maintain conditioning program
* Corrective Action: Get After It daily
* Capability Element: Victory
* Primary Responsible Party: Me
* POC: @psctopmp (Instagram & Twitter)
* Start Date: 01MAY2019
* Complete Date: Ongoing

In this episode I speak to the improvements, the tournament experience and how we can each be our own change agent to improve mentally and physically.
Between the Slides will be on a break for a bit as I re-settle in my new home and re-focus to provide more diverse and value added content.  Thank you all for joining me on this podcast experience.
Godspeed,
Kevin
