My $.02 on the great application of the TECC concepts by Texas DPS Troopers out of  Bexar County, Texas.  Troopers engage, get hit, apply self and buddy aid, then get quick transport to hospital.  Remember the “triple T” of Threat mitigation, Tourniquet application and Transport quickly.
