This week Lexie Soucy joins the Playoffs and Politics podcast. Formerly of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, and currently working at the YWCA, for years Lexie has committed herself towards promoting education and awareness surrounding the topics of systemic racism, poverty, and politics. Today we discuss the policy changes that have been born out of the Black Lives Matter protests we have seen around the globe, explain what "Defund the Police" actually means, and Lexie shares tips on how to truly educate yourself on these issues to become an ally in the movement towards change.
