We are starting a series looking into what does it mean to progress in God?
"Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,"
Scriptures referenced:
“Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. “
Joh 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”
Correction – while reading 1 Peter 5:25 I continued reading into “Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,” without stating I was reading Eph 5:26.
