Episode 81: Dr. Gurjit Sandhu

How do residents learn to be autonomous in the OR? Dr. Sandhu's research concentrates on graduated autonomy in surgical education. She is a faculty member in the Department of Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center. She has been on the Surgery Sett previously, talking about the innovations in medical education, specifically a new surgical residency training model called "Entrustment and Entrustability."
