What is a Democratic Socialist?
Democratic socialism is a political ideology that advocates for a democratically run, decentralized socialist economy. While modern democratic socialists hold diverse views on how this economy should function, they share a core commitment to abolishing capitalism rather than merely regulating it through the state (the approach favored by social democrats). Furthermore, they prioritize democracy as an intrinsic end rather than a mere means to an end, with some holding that revolution is an acceptable path to achieving that democratic ideal.
Democratic socialists reject Marxism-Leninism (i.e., communism) as a legitimate form of socialism, arguing that command economies effectively belong to a small bureaucracy that treats the means of production as its own private property. Democratic socialists also disagree with social democrats’ attempts to harness capitalism to a strong welfare state, since such mixed economies still leave many businesses’ ownership under private (and therefore undemocratic) control. Instead, all employees should enjoy either democratic control or self-management in the workplace.

So I made sure to include poems about self love, the love I have for God, and one of the most important loves you can have which is platonic love.
