The race to colonise space is ramping up, but when a vital mission ends in disaster - plans to colonise Mars are halted.  Years later, the moon has become a vital resource, and international tensions increase as Super Powers battle for lunar minerals and for new extra-terrestrial territory. 

In this episode of Never Dark, we follow an ambitious engineer as he pioneers the ‘Skyhook’ - a gigantic catapult that could give us access to the stars, and ultimately allow humanity to colonise space.
