In today’s date, the border tensions between China and India, the world’s two most populated nations, are continually rising. India’s response is not just limited to banning mobile applications, but it rather consists of a wide array of carefully crafted policies. The armed forces reviving ‘Project Cheetah’ for the employment of advanced weaponry is one of them.
Under Project Cheetah, the Indian army is looking to collaborate with the renowned Israeli Aircraft Industry. Following in the footsteps of America in the field of offensive weapons, India will be introducing upgraded Heron drones. These Israeli-made drones are all set to be equipped with various technological updates like laser-guided bombs and anti-tank missiles, among other things.
Despite the cost of carrying out the entire project, many believe this advancement to have been long due for India’s defence development. To know more about this project and how it is expected to work in India’s favour.
