Date nights with your kids one on one ( if possible ) is something that needs to happen more! Especially in todays environment, it can be mother/daughter, mother/son or dad/son time, you get my point.......

Just get it done, hang out with them in your own way ( doesn't have to be dinner ) and find that connection and grow it together, let them talk, let them be sarcastic and most of all enjoy each others time! its the material they need to build strong core foundations for the future.
