I am joined today by my good friend, a documentary filmmaker in the making - Carter Kirilenko. He recently came back from his filming journey in Indonesia. Documenting stories from local palm tree farmers, volunteer firefighters and professors regarding their role in the complicated and gargantuan industry of palm oil. He shared his insights and findings regarding what we can try to do as consumers of these palm oil derivatives and how we can move forward in this industry to offset its consequences and increase its benefits.
