On this episode we make the usual demands from independent cinema: more sex, more money, and more attention for our podcast. If you're reading this we've succeeded in at least one of those things. However the biggest win for us is the arrival of a new film from Angus MacLachlan, ABUNDANT ACREAGE AVAILABLE. And while both Chris and Mike agree that it is one of the best films of 2017, they gravitated to two different themes and we explain them in our respective selections of Tamara Jenkins' THE SAVAGES and Gus Van Sant's PROMISED LAND. Come for the enthusiasm of two cinephiles raving over something great, and stick around for the usual bitterness that sets in after we shout into the film podcast void.
