On today's episode I chat with Alison Hanrahan, the Principal Physiotherapist of Chevron Island Physio here on the Gold Coast. Alison isn't your normal run-of-the-mill physio that just deals with musculoskeletal issues in her patients. She has undergone extensive postgraduate training in the areas of pelvic floor rehabilitation for urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, exercise during pregnancy and the post-natal period, and management of pregnancy-related pelvic pain and pelvic floor pain - all the things very relevant to pregnant mamas and new mamas out there listening to this podcast!

If you have pelvic floor issues, then you're definitely going to want to listen to this and if you've yet to have your bub I think it's really important to be across what can potentially happen and things you can do to minimize your risk. This is not to scare anyone out of having a vaginal birth, it's to give you all the information so you can be the most informed you can be.
