This is the prologue. It makes for a very short episode. Since it is a glimpse into the middle of the story you’ll have to wait to find out how it all eventually pans out. We find Thendiel suffering because she has allowed her elven spirit to deteriorate too far in the human realm. Her soliloquy is one of an empath who is lived her whole life among sentient trees that she loves so dearly and of her young sons that she’s forced to leave behind.
