This sermon uses David’s encounter with Saul in 1 Samuel 24 to teach that God’s promises should never be pursued through shortcuts or disobedience. Even when David had the opportunity to kill Saul and claim the throne, he honored God’s process, trusted God’s timing, and left justice in God’s hands. “Honor the process as much as the promise, and trust the Promise-Maker.”
