When God makes a promise with us, He keeps his end. Thank goodness the promise He gave to Abraham about us went nowhere when Moses came along. The law has done its work when I look at it and recognize my sin and need for forgiveness. Christ has finished the work that gives me forgiveness when I place my faith in him and intern, become a child of Abraham by faith.
