The title of our Easter Sunday sermon was Promised Poison. Pastor wants us to see the ways in which God’s faithful love for creation and humanity is revealed in the resurrection. When we screw up, God does not abandon us! God does not move on! God makes promises that seem too good to be true. And keeps them! He made a promise not just to Adam and Eve, but to a serpent, and on Easter Sunday morning, some two thousand years ago outside of Jerusalem, God kept that promise…Be blessed as you listen!
