After almost three decades of different college experiences, I have done, seen or heard just about everything there is to experience in college life. I draw these experiences from the whole spectrum of educational institutions: a small liberal arts college, a large university, and two large technical community colleges. Further, these experiences are drawn from my years as a student and many other years as an instructor, a professor, and an administrator, serving as a director, a department head and a dean.
But most importantly is the relationship I have built throughout all these years with current students, former students as an advisor and mentor, other educators, and administrators, collecting a wealth of knowledge and understanding of college life.
