With work partly centered on challenging on-campus racism, Laura Mae unpacks the psychology behind communal engagement as a minority. To calibrate subjective expectations, educators should embrace the opportunity to promote objective thinking - a process that requires building relationships and trust over consistent dialogue.

As a Member of the Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills, a Critic for Citizenship and Immigration Services, and a Critic for Anti-racism, Laura Mae hopes to inspire increased quality in Canadian political spheres and for those in business to see antiracist work as leadership work.
