This morning, we wanted to help parents who have a child going into post-school education system (universities, TVET colleges) for the first time and perhaps struggling to find accommodation off-campus. We know that residences have limited capacity and not everybody has the option to buy property for their child. We are aware of the looming student accommodation crisis in the bigger cities and this has given rise to property scams. We wanted to help parents identify what they should look out for when it comes to identifying real property listings, safe platforms to use when searching for off-campus accommodation and unpack the application process for the different listings (i.e. apartment, houseshare, etc).
