The Senate today finalized the vote to overturn the Governor's veto on the property tax bill. They also added another bill to the original one to fix a bonding issue. Nate Shelman took you through all of that live. He was also joined by State Senator Tammy Nichols to get the rundown of everything the Senate did today. Ada County Commissioner Rod Beck joined the show to discuss why he and the other commissioners unanimously voted not to put the Meridian Library District up for a dissolution vote. In a different local story, a Kuna couple has been sentenced to four years on parole after being convicted of child abuse and neglect. Nate doesn't think this is a harsh enough punishment.
