Sabbath School lesson #12 Dying like a seed. Emotions can sometimes take over and cloud good reason, and when this happens it usually spells a loss in our Christian walk. So what are some of the tools that we can learn to combat this condition? 

  When the whole world tells us to follow our heart and to listen and respond to the emotion, Jesus is telling us to reason with Him. God is sending us an intellectual appeal, and He is bidding us to open the door to our hearts and let Him in. And by spending time with the life giver it gives us advantage when the battle against self gets hot. After all we like to blame others for our short comings, but God again bids us to examine self. The one who created all things can create in us a clean heart and one that is more likely day by day as we follow Him to give a kind response to an angry inquiry.
