In this teaching, we will consider the over 500 unfulfilled Bible prophecies that point to the last days. This week’s prophecy update examines the headlines surrounding Peter Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal and Palantir. This influential entrepreneur and venture capitalist is holding a four-part lecture series for tech elites on the very subject of the Antichrist. The fact that a major figure on the world stage is speaking about the rise of the biblical Antichrist to an audience of powerful people is a significant indication of the times we are in.

We will also consider Peter Thiel’s views on technology and AI, and his theory that these advanced systems could enable the rise of an Antichrist system. He suggests this system could co-opt fears of existential threats like AI or nuclear catastrophe to promote centralized, authoritarian control, using the slogan “peace and safety.”

We also want to remind you that even as these events unfold, the Bible offers a message of hope. We believe the resurrection and rapture of the church is an imminent event that could happen at any time. The Great Tribulation is a future time of trouble, not for the church, but for Israel, as indicated in Revelation 3:10. This is why it is so important to be ready for the rapture and to be looking up for Jesus’ return.
