Listen Later

Hey guys! looks like we're going the opposite of Black History Month this week by covering a straight up racist! That's right THE Dr. Seuss. Turns out the man who wrote dozens of children's books actually had a way of "sneaking" racist images in to almost every single job opportunity he had. From ads to books to articles he never missed a chance to add some black face or super exaggerated Asian faces to his work. ENJOY!

Theodor Seuss Geisel (/suːs ˈɡaɪzəl, zɔɪs -/ (listen);[2][3][4] March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991)[5] was an American children's author, political cartoonist, illustrator, poet, animator, and filmmaker. He is known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss (/suːs, zuːs/,[4][6]). His work includes many of the most popular children's books of all time, selling over 600 million copies and being translated into more than 20 languages by the time of his death.
