News came down yesterday that the Cardinals have made Marcell Ozuna a qualifying offer, and are ready to discuss a multiyear deal. The Baseball Hall of Fame announced this year's candidates to be considered by the Modern Era Committee, and Ted Simmons was among the names up for consideration.
