22. கர்த்தரின் ஆசீர்வாதமே ஐசுவரியத்தைத் தரும்; அதனோடே அவர் வேதனையைக் கூட்டார்.
Proverbs 10:22 NKJV
The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
Genesis 39:3-4 NKJV
And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand.
[4] So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.
4. யோசேப்பினிடத்தில் தயவுவைத்து, அவனைத் தனக்கு ஊழியக்காரனும் தன் வீட்டுக்கு விசாரணைக்காரனுமாக்கி, தனக்கு உண்டான யாவற்றையும் அவன் கையில் ஒப்புவித்தான்.
5. அவனைத் தன் வீட்டுக்கும் தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் விசாரணைக்காரனாக்கினதுமுதற்கொண்டு, கர்த்தர் யோசேப்பினிமித்தம் அந்த எகிப்தியன் வீட்டை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்; வீட்டிலும் வெளியிலும் அவனுக்கு உண்டானவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் இருந்தது.
5. அவனைத் தன் வீட்டுக்கும் தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் விசாரணைக்காரனாக்கினதுமுதற்கொண்டு, கர்த்தர் யோசேப்பினிமித்தம் அந்த எகிப்தியன் வீட்டை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்; வீட்டிலும் வெளியிலும் அவனுக்கு உண்டானவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் இருந்தது.
6. ஆகையால், அவன் தனக்கு உண்டானதையெல்லாம் யோசேப்பின் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்துவிட்டு, தான் புசிக்கிற போஜனம்தவிர தன்னிடத்திலிருந்த மற்றொன்றைக்குறித்தும் விசாரியாதிருந்தான். யோசேப்பு அழகான ரூபமும் சௌந்தரிய முகமும் உள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்.
7. சிலநாள் சென்றபின், அவனுடைய எஜமானின் மனைவி யோசேப்பின்மேல் கண்போட்டு, என்னோடே சயனி என்றாள்.
8. அவனோ தன் எஜமானுடைய மனைவியின் சொல்லுக்கு இணங்காமல், அவளை நோக்கி: இதோ, வீட்டிலே என்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறவைகளில் யாதொன்றைக்குறித்தும் என் ஆண்டவன் விசாரியாமல், தமக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் என் கையில் ஒப்பித்திருக்கிறார்.
9. இந்த வீட்டிலே என்னிலும் பெரியவன் இல்லை; நீ அவருடைய மனைவியாயிருக்கிறபடியால் உன்னைத்தவிர வேறொன்றையும் அவர் எனக்கு விலக்கி வைக்கவில்லை; இப்படியிருக்க, நான் இத்தனை பெரிய பொல்லாங்குக்கு உடன்பட்டு, தேவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பாவம் செய்வது எப்படி என்றான்.
10. அவள் நித்தம் நித்தம் யோசேப்போடே இப்படிப் பேசிக்கொண்டுவந்தும், அவன் அவளுடனே சயனிக்கவும் அவளுடனே இருக்கவும் சம்மதிக்கவில்லை.

Thus he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance.
[7] And it came to pass after these things that his master’s wife cast longing eyes on Joseph, and she said, “Lie with me.”
[8] But he refused and said to his master’s wife, “Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand.
[9] There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”
[10] So it was, as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he did not heed her, to lie with her or to be with her
