How do our views of protagonists in society shape our everyday lives?

With “white knighting”, a phenomena where a person sees themselves as the protagonist and savior of either a specific person or people, seemingly on the rise we take this episode to look at where we think it comes from, what the impact is that it’s having on society, and whether or not (and if whether, how) we should do something to change it.
