Tyrone Montayre, President and Founder of Protect and Preserve Hawaii, talks about how he started the organization.  The organization plants native hawaiian plants and tries to preserve the native hawaiian ecosystem.  He talks about invasive species that are encroaching upon the habitat of native hawaiian plants.  There are volunteer opportunities with Protect and Preserve Hawaii for those who are interested in learning about native hawaiian plants and being outside.
