A young man during the 1970s Viet Nam War era, Gordon shares his experience in prepping his three young adult children to conscientiously object (CO) to participating in military service because of their moral, religious and ethical beliefs.

He believes a big "cattle call" of young Americans through a military draft is now likely because:

1. Current enlistment rates are the lowest of the past 50 years, and
2. The collective health of draft-age American men and women is relatively poor.

Conscientious objectors must establish their beliefs in writing as early in their childhood as possible, and Gordon discusses a very specific technique for doing this. COs documentation must serve as absolute proof of their convictions, such that the integrity of any testimonial evidence cannot be denied when examined in the presence of impartial witnesses.
