For many abused children within the foster care system, their Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer will be the one constant adult presence—the one adult who cares only for them. With Foster children being given alarming rates of dangerous psychiatric drugs, CASAs play an important role in ensuring the child's well being. To give a child a CASA is to give them a voice; to give them a voice is to give them hope, and to give them hope is to give them the world.
