Body Armor

Not being able to hide the truth Allison had to open up to a man that was blindsided at being a boyfriend. It was all a game to keep her ex away but when things started happening and shots were fire Allison could no longer separate boyfriend and protector and Rock didn't even give her the option.

He was built to protect at all cost but the mystery Sherbrooke hier took his mind and body to another place. It was fun until fun became obvious mishaps and prickly skin. Yes he would do his job and protect the woman he love with his last breath.

This was a good book by Christina and it displayed how all things and people are not what ypu assume and that trusting your instincts can go a long way.

Another Sherbrooke story told well.

This story was a good one just like the other six in the series. The only thing I would have wanted to see was their marriage. I know that part of the story is in the next book in the series. It was also good to see that Roc, one of the main characters, was going to be okay after being shot. Can't wait for the next story.

Another hit

Allison Sherbrooke changed jobs and relocated to Virginia partially to get away from an ex who wouldn't give up. Rock Raimono is a marine whose sister is married to Allison's brother Trent. Allison and Rock end up on a date due to Allison trying to avoid a confrontation with her ex. Allison has had several instances of uneasy feelings of being watched or followed. She comes home and lights are on, the door isn't locked and the alarm isn't on; Allison never leaves her home like this. Will the protective instincts of a marine come out to help Allison? Is she really being followed? You will have to read Protecting the Billionaire to find out.

Good continuation of the Sherbrooke family

I've read the whole Sherbrooke series except the prequel because I felt like I already knew what happened by reading The Teachers Billionaire (which is still my favorite in the series). I like how this story was different than the others with some suspense. I also like how the author intertwines the extended family in each book. Again I could do without some of the foul language. Allison and Rock's story is worth reading.

Unlikely pairings in this series but HEA so far

Have enjoyed previous books in the series,but this one has so many misspellings and wrong use of words it distracted from the story. Hopefully the remaining books won't have that problem. Nice to think that billionaires are real people and face life challenges,too.
