Let the record show that I AM NOT against financial advisors. I believe that they can serve a vital role in society when it comes to increasing financial literacy. That said, there are a lot of things that advisors do and there are a lot of things that people allow their advisors to do that should NOT be the case, and these things do not make for long-term financial success. Financial advisors can be a source of much knowledge and assistance with tricky financial concepts, but they can also be a trap for your money where you never get out of them what you should. Today, we will discuss:
1. What financial advisors should be
2. How financial advisors can hurt you financially
3. How you can protect your finances from an unhealthy relationship with a financial advisor
