It is not the kind of job you do that makes you prosperous; it is the blessing of God which prospers a person.

Your objective for coming to church should be to serve God wholeheartedly, not because you want something from Him.

Your faith should not only be about receiving from God. You need to  love and worship God unconditionally, with a firm resolve to continue  serving Him whether He blesses you or not.
