Who among us does not have a deep desire for joy and peace. Nobody volunteers for anxiety and distraction. While sometimes it seems elusive, every one of us prefers an internal atmosphere that is healthy, calm, and hopeful. One of the agendas of the enemy is to steal God’s peace from us and replace it with worry and fear. He seeks to devise Christians via intimidation and feelings of dread about the future. Happily, the Apostle Paul wrote clear instructions to us about how we can and must disarm the devil in his mission against us. All of us have the responsibility AND empowerment to protect and preserve our own internal atmospheres.
