On today's episode, Pamela and I discuss the importance of getting an adequate amount of protein. We also give tactics and strategies that will help enable you to get more protein throughout the day simply and easily.
We start by discussing the importance of protein and why it's beneficial to gain and sustain lean tissue. Muscle is important for a wide variety of reasons and not just because of how it looks.
We explain how much protein one should shoot for and how to go about getting that amount of protein in throughout the day. We give some easy tricks and strategies that help us get more protein in daily.
Protein is also great because it prevents sugar crashes and it helps to regulate our hormones so that we can better determine what being hungry and full feels like.
We give some ideas on how to get more protein when you're busy, including information on protein supplements, and ways of "batching" protein prep so that it's easy. This way you have protein for the week.
