<p>In 1998, I travelled to Calcutta and studied Rabindrasangeet (the songs of Rabindranath Tagore) with Rajeswar Bhattacharya. The following year, I continued studying these songs with Sharmila Banerjee in Philadelphia.  Here I am singing in Bengali language, and adding English lyrics which I created  to help Western audiences to experience these songs.</p>
