Proverbs 18:21 - Speak Life... It’s a Matter of Life and Death.Reflective Thinking

Today’s proverb doesn’t play around. Death and life are in the power of the words we speak. God is reminding us how important it is to be disciplined about what we say. This isn’t only talking about the words we speak to others, this also goes for the words we speak to ourselves. Some of the most damaging words I’ve ever said were to myself. It messed me up for years. Thankfully, I’m fully healed from that. I now believe the truth about who I am and who’s I am.

Action Idea

Here are some good words to speak to ourselves: I choose to respect the power of the tongue and I choose to be diligent and disciplined using that power. Yes! Once again, I choose to respect the power of the tongue and I choose to be diligent and disciplined using that power.
