* Security is our core human need. “Who can I trust?”

* In whatever or whoever you place your trust it becomes a stronghold for you.

* A stronghold is a place that is fortified so as to protect it against attack.

* If you place your trust in anything other than God Satan is the one who controls that stronghold in your life.

* It’s like a man who finds his security in his money.

* He goes to bed with a false sense of security, because that money can’t stop the cancer from taking his life.

* Anything or anyone other than God will fail as a stronghold.

* A wise person - one who fears the Lord - deals with the strongholds in peoples’ lives.

* He knows how to tear them down.

* He knows how to show the man that his money is not the answer - God is.

* But it’s the man’s choice whether or not he’ll believe it.

* If he does, the stronghold can come down and be replaced by God - the ultimate stronghold.
