This is the first sermon in my sermon series, "Proverbs - Words of Wisdom". This series focuses on the wisdom and lessons offered in the book of Proverbs, a book that rarely gets many highlights in preaching. With a core focus on wisdom, there are countless excellent lessons and instructions offered in the book of Proverbs, many that connect exceptionally well with where we are in the world right now. This series does not use the Revised Common Lectionary selections for any specific week or year. The Scripture choices for this message are: John 14:23-31; Philippians 4:4-9; Proverbs 4:20-27.
