Provision and Increase: God as Our Source Today we learn about sowing seed, and how to activate our faith. Some key ideas:
God has legally obligated Himself to meet our needs. Phil. 4:19God has unlimited ways to meet our needs.God requires active faith to 'get involved' in our need.
Seed time and harvest is the system God has provided to meet our needs.We can sow a seed out of our need.
We can name any financial seed for what we believe God for.God is not a respector of persons, He is a respector of purpose.
He will give the return that WE need.Sowing and giving activate our faith. Faith needs to be a lifestyle of repetitive giving UNTO the Lord.
Giving is not a one time matter.It is not the amount that we give, it is if it is our best seed. If I only have two pairs of socks, my best seed is to give one pair of socks.
After we sow, there is a time process, in which we keep our faith that we released when we sowed and just keep sowing and going.God has promised that His ability to provide and bless is supernaturally MORE than any need we can have.We can all outgrow lack by our giving.
We can speak to the seeds we have planted and command them to grow. We can speak TO lack and debt and command them to leave, and then sow seeds to get the provision to be released from them.
We can sow into a recompense and anything else the Word promises is ours.
Keeping God as our source keeps our attention on God, and in joy and not people.
