This month we're outside Savannah, Georgia at the Pin Point Heritage Museum, which celebrates the history and resilience of this community rooted in the Gullah-Geechee culture. It's also the birthplace of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

I travel to Atlanta's West End neighborhood to learn more about Joel Chandler Harris, best known as the author of the Uncle Remus stories. Harris was incredibly influential, but not without controversy.

Mona and I head back to Savannah to visit Georgia State Railroad Museum, located in the Frogtown district of Savannah. Central of Georgia Railroad history, and much more about old time Savannah!
